Me and my handmade jewellery will be at The Finders Keepers design market in Sydney this weekend!
The market is held at Australian Technology Park in the Locomotive Workshop at Henderson Road, Eveleigh in the inner west.
I’ll be there from 6-10pm on Friday and from 10am to 5pm on Saturday. Drop by and say hello!
You can check out lots of my designs in person and even pick up a set of Christmas pudding tokens at a special market only price – and get a stack of Christmas shopping done from all sorts of indie designers.
I’ve been absolutely flat out making enormous quantities of jewellery for the Finders Keepers design market in Melbourne next weekend.
Partially completed jewellery pieces for the market fresh out of the tumbler.
I’ve been working very long, hard hours in recent weeks to make sure I have enough jewellery made for the market – I was so unwell in September that I ended up very behind schedule.
But I have just a few more pieces to make to reach my target. Then there’s a whole lot of other organising work to do! Hopefully I’ll manage to get it all done in time – and with my worn out fingers still intact!
The market is at the Royal Exhibition Centre in Carlton on this coming Friday 19 October (6pm to 10pm) and Saturday 20 October (10am to 5pm). I hope to see you there!
PS. If you’re in Adelaide I’ll also be at the next Bowerbird Bazaar design market at the Adelaide Showgrounds on 9-11 November. More information coming soon!
Just a quick note to thank everyone who visited my stall at the Undercurrent Design Market at the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra on the weekend!
I hope you found lots of handmade goodness!
Are you in Canberra or know someone who is? I’ll be selling my handmade jewellery at the Undercurrent Design Market at the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra later this week.
You’ll find market only prices and market only jewellery pieces, so be there or miss out!
This is the first market I’ve done in many years and it’s taken a massive effort to get ready for it (which is still ongoing!). In the last two and a half weeks I’ve made around 100 pieces of jewellery – something I wasn’t even sure was possible!
Above is a photo of just a few of those pieces – rings with etched circles and rhodolite settings, plus some matching pendants (not yet on a chain) which are not currently available online (one pendant has a citrine setting).
I hope to undertake a small number of design markets over the next 12 months. After Canberra I may possibly do another pre-Christmas market in Adelaide. I’ll keep you posted!
If you are able to come to the Undercurrent market in Canberra, it’s on Friday 25 (5 to 9pm) and Saturday 26 November (10am to 4pm) at the National Portrait Gallery. It would be great to see you there!
