Hi Caroline. My sincere apologies to have misrepresented you – I was relying on my (obviously flakey!) memory given that the conference papers still aren’t out. I’m told they aren’t too far away now.

I’ve removed that section of the post. Thanks for alerting me to it and my apologies again.

By the way, if you would be interested in writing an article about your travels and research, let me know. I’d love to read it and I’m sure other JMGA members would too.

Have to say that you have misrepresented what I said in the opening of my lecture at JMGA in January.

I was simply saying that the conference in Sydney was more theoretical than any one of the many SNAG conferences in the States that I have attended.

There is more of a media distinct climate in the US than on a more global front, this I have been fortunate to observe through my travels this year, and through my research.

Oh my gawd I’m such a moron, I forgot to put you in my bloglines so I’m so behind in your awesome posts!

I’m brain dead from work at the moment and just got in so I can’t wait to catch up on what you’ve written, from the sleepy eyed skimming I’ve just done I can see how beautifully you write and I can’t wait to have a good read =)
